I am a white, fat, queer, & genderqueer artist living in Minneapolis, MN. Originally from upstate New York, I am generally irritated by the way people drive here, but otherwise it feels like home.
In addition to painting and drawing, I also sometimes sculpt figures out of clay, make dioramas, or cut & fold paper into pretty things. I also love to eat, and so I cook and bake a lot, and I spend more of my budget than is wise on foodie restaurants.
I am concerned about our world. I am learning to heal my past traumas, and I hope that by doing so I am contributing to a more healed, loving, compassionate, and just world. I know in my bones that art is a huge part of my/our healing journey.
